Detailed Specifications
| detailed description | The GigaBlox Rugged is an ultra-compact, rugged Layer 2 unmanaged and managed Ethernet switch designed for space, weight, and price- sensitive (SWaP) applications including industrial, mobile, and military deployments. It provides four 10/100/1000Mbps copper Ethernet ports in a 50mm x 55mm board form factor. The switch operates out-of-the-box as an unmanaged Layer 2 switch requiring zero configuration. Managed functionality is supported via customized firmware uploaded to the onboard NOR Flash. The wide input voltage range (5-60V DC), reverse polarity protection, and -40C to +105C operating range make it suitable for direct integration into unregulated vehicle and industrial power buses without additional conditioning circuitry. The GigaBlox Rugged is also available as a USA-manufactured variant (GigaBlox Rugged USA) that is NDAA, TAA, and BlueUAS compliant.
